Even at this age, I remember that day too well. Nothing but a stringed-popcorn tree from the back-field fence and snow up to the window-sills with the haunting thought that my youngest sister and I were going to be “County-Kids” if things didn’t get better. After “rationing” and the A-Bomb got us a win for our side… Well, kids, read all about it if your teachers will let you.A Salute to those of the ‘Greatest Generation’ and to Us of the ‘Forgotten War.’ Merry Christmas and Many More In Store !
Time Magazine says that as of October 16th of this year:.“there are currently 150,560 U.S. military personnel serving in foreign countries.”.That’s a lot of families and extended families wondering about their loved one this Christmas. (and all through the rest of the year)

Our country was so united then. It’s too bad that we can’t be like that now. But then it took a war to do it back then.
