Jingle Bells Jingle Bells On December 16, 1965, Jingle Bells became the first song broadcast from space- astronauts Tom Stafford and Wally Schirra performed it from the Gemini 6! Santa Claus would have visit 822 homes per second, traveling at 650 miles a second, in order to deliver all of his presents on Christmas eve! Iceland has 13 Santa alike gnomes called Yule lads, with names like Spoon-Licker, Meat Hook and Door Sniffer!

Incredible it has been 50 years since “Jingle Bells” was broadcasted on the Gemini 6. (Where are Tom and Wally now anyway?)

I always ignored the Dutch, since their kids expect presents on the evening of Dec. 5th, and all the non-Christians who wouldn’t be expecting anything from a saint. Even so, that would be impossible.

Not gnomes. The Yule Lads are of human stature, and their parents, Grýla and Leppalúði are trolls. They used to be used to frighten children, thus they have a rap sheet for stealing stuff and making loud noises in the night, and presumably eating their mothers signature Christmas dish, bad children. They were rehabilitated so to speak into their current job because it had become impossible to get children out of the house in December, out of fear of them, their mother or their cat, who eats children who don’t get new clothes for Christmas.

Today if Jingle Bells was the first song played from space, some group would be up in arms because it wasn’t about the birth of Christ.

What’s with the conditional tense? Think of the kids. The old boy’s really fast, OK?

The speed of time is a function of the amount of gravity nearby. So perhaps Santa has a mini black hole in his pocket.-——-I personally don’t understand how, but that is what I have heard.

Well, I’m so glad YOU talk like an adult…. “Shut up, shut up, shut up…” You’re so right, I must be REALLY stupid… Could you please help me understand why it is that, if someone has an opinion that you don’t agree with, that they are wrong, not you? And also, why then do you read the comment section, and doing the very same thing you disagree with???
