This has absolutely nothing to do with today’s comic, but is such a lovely conicidence that it should be shared. I hope Jen reads this, if she isn’t too busy - I have a feeling it would amuse her.

I’ve just been watching an imported Australian TV show called “Border Security”, one of those reality cop shows, but this time about Customs and Immigration at Sydney Airport. Even as I watched, two Vietnamese-American women were being arrested on suspicion of drug-smuggling. A very large and very butch Aussie customs woman was snapping a rubber glove onto her right hand, and saying the next stage with these two women was “an internal”. But she was smiling as if she was looking forward to it…

The reason I relate this here is that the bossier and snappier of the two Viet drug girls, the boss of the outfit, was identifiied as a Miss T. Nguyen…

I did a doubletake, wiped my eyes, and there she was.

Lucas’ ex-girlfriend, busted for drugs at an Australian airport and a long way from home. She even looked as if she’d stepped out of one of Jen’s drawings!

The show is called “Border Security” and it’s done by Aussie Channel 7, if anyone wants to follow this through… you never know, this could be a future plot line.

“Did anyone pack your bags for you, miss?”

“Yes. Mona Montrois….” (realises, puts head in hands. Cut to Mona with a “vengeance is mine, bitch!” look on her face, as she puts down the phone after tipping off Customs….

Is that blissful look from a kiss or a kick?
