Garbage Eve is the best. The anticipation after we gather all our things and leave them by the road, then lifting the lid to see…YES! Garbage Claws has been here!
We luckily have a dumpster, it’s just across the street, so rarely a problem. Today it was overflowing & a bit was left on the ground. Was going to help pick it up, but I had just returned from the store & by the time I put away the stuff, it was cleaned up.
Overloading cans is not allowed in my area. They will bag it with their special bags and charge back to the customer. the cost is dependent on the size can you contract, and they do not mess around with that.

In our area, If the trash collectors even think the barrel is overloaded, they don’t have to pick it up, but still have the right to charge us.

Politically incorrect to make fun of sanitary workers having to work harder?

Glad I’m in an area where the trash can doesn’t have to be taken to the curb. Just have to set it up once.
