It’s a ten-cat night. No shirkers.

“Its gonna be a loooong night, I gotta rest up”

“You’re on my Naughty List. Permanently!

“Maybe if I hide back here, she won’t see me and put another ’tupid outfit on me”.

“I don’t feel so good, I need to go find one of your shoes”

“I give up”

“I just had a horrible thought, Easter is coming”

Santa is not a “jolly old soul”!

“I’m gonna bite him, I don’t care if he can see me being bad”

Those Santa suits look warm at least

Lightning, thunder, wind and heavy rain here on the Oregon coast.It started about 4:30.It took three tries to get Sweetheart to go out to pee.

Annie and the kitties in bed together!!! LOVE THIS!!!

I am going to be busy moving into a studio apartment over the next few weeks. Won’t have help with the heavy stuff until after the first of the year, so this may be a little early.

Also, Gweedo’s statement in yesterday’s comments about my moving pretty fast crossing the street yesterday. You would too if you had a car rushing at your a$$ no matter how bad you hurt. The new pain is going to make moving difficult, but by the time it is done I will either be better or so bad that they will have to do something to fix it.

After years of wondering if my cat was a mouser, wondering if we had mice in our house (we had never seen any), my cat ran into the dining room last night at bedtime with a mouse in his mouth and commenced to play with it. In the morning, I found a half of a mouse under my chair. Speculations answered! Guess I now know why he has been eating so little cat food — he has been supplementing his diet with protein.

With enough cats, you can be warm on the coldest day. Last Rose – you really gave me my morning laughs with the Santa kitties. Too, too cute! Ppyfss – good luck with your move. Just remember to take care of yourself first. And we all hope for a better New Year for you.

Going over to Citizen Dog to join my fellow Dec 10 birthday peeps.

It’s my hands and feet that get cold in bed so if a cat is not doing the proper job I twist over a bit and stick my feet under the heated pet pad. Ahhhhhhh

@Gweedo – It’s legal here !!! – Murrayre your suggestion on screening for the balconyWent to see Puppyface this afternoon and got a tour of the new place. Less space but a wall length window with sliding door onto a balcony. She said the place used to be a hotel. She is not allowed to put up a screen enclosure in order that when the cats get up to the ledge they can’t go over. I looked down, it’s a long way to the bottom. (9th floor)She was very grumbly and grousy today. Her re injury is sad to see. I remember her walking up the street when she was here and today was whimpering from the pain of getting into my truck for the drive over to her new digs. She walked at a fair clip to cross the street to where I was parked.———————————————————Gweedo…MY reply to your comment of yesterday began with an s and ended with a t. Gotta find sommit else to cheer up our girl. She sounds down today even though she avoided being mashed by a car!

I am confused. Ruth is Wet and Soggy, which was Linda’s avatar, and we haven’t heard from her for months?
