There’s a museum of sorts dedicated to the creator of these, up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, in Grand Marais. I passed by it once, and decided I’d go in and check it out when I wasn’t in a hurry. It’s starting to look like I’ll never stop being in a hurry, though. It’s called “The Pickle Barrel,” for those who haven’t clicked on the link, and it’s shaped like one.
I used to deliver the Toronto Star Weekly (in Vancouver), which meant I used to get the following weekend’s coloured comics every Monday. (What a treat!) This was in the early 60s, by the way. The Teeny-Weenies were in that comic section, and it was the only place I ever saw it. I stared at it briefly every week, on my way to the more “important” comics. I wish now that I had paid more attention.

Through 1970? How come I don’t remember seeing it?

I remember them very well. One panel, only on Sunday. Thanks for the memory.

I remember this strip from the 1960’s. Amazed to find it ran until 1970.
