Chris Stiles will never know what happened. Based on how he’s drawn in P1 he doesn’t look too bright.
How surprised will we all be when Chris Stiles gets to his ball and sees that is nestled up against the root of that tree and he has to take an unplayable lie or hit it backwards? Can you spell double bogey?
The only thing keeping me in this story line is the hope against hope of a Cassie sighting or the eventual comeuppance the Gilfather will deliver to “Clarence” Peake.
It’s Match Play….a Conference Champ like Stiles knows that it is only one hole and he will still be 1up even if he’s “in jail”. If this was Stroke Play, that shot would actually be more significant!!
