When I got to the point in my career that I had to spend a lot of time in an office, which I didn’t like, a bureaucrat would walk by my door several times a week and say, “Smile”.This got old, so I put a sign up on the wall behind me that said, “If God wanted me to smile all the time, He would have made me simple minded”.Next time he said, “Smile”, I pointed over my shoulder to the sign. That’s the last time I heard, “Smile” from him.
