Every birthday is a victory. You’ve survived another year, in spite of what life has thrown at you. So, revel in each birthday you successfully reach. I remember being alarmed when I hit 25. A whole quarter of a century old! Ha! Now three quarters of a century looms only 5 years in the future. A goal to reach, more than a dread.
Be happy you are turning 30. Just think of those that never saw their 30th birthday. I am happy for each year older I get. Next month I can add 1 more year. I’ll be 73.

30th! Yes, if I try very hard I can think of the angst I felt on that birthday. VERY hard.
