Here’s a clue to whether or not you’re being gaslighted, someone asks you for a favour because they claim they “don’t know how”, they criticize you while you’re working, saying you’re doing it wrong, sometimes in a silly taunting tone that sounds like you’re back in second grade.. if you recognise the pattern but can’t figure out why it’s upsetting you, walk away. It’s okay to leave a job unfinished. Your mental health is more important, no matter what they say.
