So are they thinking they can actually pay for two $38 tickets with 76 cans of Coke? Maybe figuring they don’t mind paying the last $4 in cash, after dragging three cases to the ticket window?
After all…. each case is less than 7 bucks at Costco.(plus the can deposit fee, if there is one in Illinois.)
$76 worth of tickets for about $25!!! Pure genius!Wonder how they’ll feel about their big “savings” when they find out they’re allowed one can, and ONE dollar off, per ticket.
Or do they know that, and plan to go 75 times? OK, we all know they won’t do that. So…Will they…1) Go home?2) Trudge back to the car with all that Coke, and come back with just the two cans plus $74?3) Come back with 2 cans and $74 for tickets plus 4 cans each in Joy’s purse and Burl’s pockets to drink later, instead of buying refreshments in the park… (more genius) …but get rejected by the metal detector gates?4) Go back and try to scalp Cokes for $1 each in the parking lot so they can buy the tickets…. and get caught by park security and arrested for peddling without a license, have to pay a $375 fine, and never see Six Flags??
our local 6 flags gives $5 off the admission and the cans/bottles do not have to be empty. My kids worked there and they save all the full cans or bottles and at the end of the season they have an employee party and they have plenty of drinks………
There math isn’t quite right, but that’s okay. It will work out. Since that represents merely their semi-weekly allotment of sugared battery acid, the aluminum value in the empties for this quarter alone will by two tickets and then some. .(Unfortunately, they will spent $10 in gas driving over to the next town where they hear you get 2-cents more per pound of cans. But that’s not in the Six Flags budget, so it’s okay.)
I’ve saved over $600 on admission to Six Flags in Agawam, Mass using My Coke Rewards. 1000 points per admission ticket, or 2000 points if you want a season pass. There are 3 points on each bottle of Coke, 10 points on a 12-pack of cans, and 20 points on a 24-pack. The occasional special offer will double the points entered into the website. Maximum 75 points input allowed per week.
The best part is that I’m friends with the Coke man who services all the machines in my area. He gives me enough points every week to fill the limit on three accounts!

But first they have to drink all that coke. I wonder how much the local Crustwood dentist charges for dentures.
