They don’t even realise that Sue and Bill are talking about cotton sheets.
None of our trio have slept on a cotton sheet since the invention of polyester.

There’s no enough fabric softener in the world to make a 100-count sheet fit to lay on! Yeesh! Burlap would be smoother.
