Actually, yes. As long as they use solar panels, and not wires (which would connect them to an unbeliever) they can have pretty much whatever they like. My friend as a wringer machine and a house phone. No TV or radio.
And while I understand it was done to enforce the idea that the man is Amish, they do not use “thee” and “thine”. Not even the Quakers do that any more.

True Amish are not allowed and do not use electricity. They can be shunned by the Amish community.
