Connie, you have to start somewhere and 20 minutes is more than just a start for most people. If you do it daily and work up to those 30 minutes, not only will you lose weight, you will do your whole body good. I know, because that is what I have done. I walk 30 minutes twice a day, mostly outside, but on the treadmill when the weather is bad.
