I understand. I seriously shopped for a new car, testing Focus and similar, but thought – why be cramped and pay through the nose for it. And something larger was outrageously priced. So I kept my ancient Suburban that still looks okay and runs fine and for which they were only going to give me $2000. It may well run another 100,000 miles, putting me ahead for the decade by about $35,000.

O agree with Burl here. I won’t ride in a smart car either. Will never thought of it as a bumper car though.
