No one is really sure what happened to VanGough’s ear, the “romantic” version is that he cut it off and sent it to his (ex?)girlfriend to spite her, but another version is that he lost it in a drunken bar fight and made up the other story because it sounded more romantic than the truth.

My guess is that no Pennys have ever heard of Van Gogh.
Their brains are pretty much No Gogh.
My other guess is that, while I did find (I think) the “official” smiley face…
some of you face-finding experts from “Birdbrains” will find at least half a dozen more.

No Burl, Van Gogh wasn’t married. He had a girlfriend he hadn’t heard from in weeks, so he mailed her his ear.
