First time I’ve ever heard that brake lights come on automatically without touching the brake pedal.

Especially useful when you’re too close to the car in front of you…

Maybe it’s just a courtesy notice to the cops, so they know you’re tailgating.

It’s hard to judge the distance from a few hundred yards behind your car.

alas, I have no magic powers. LOL

I did think it was probably in the end of one of the HoHos on Burl’s plate….

cos I think a normal HoHo would be spiral, and all chocolate covered.

Then again, it’s been decades since I last looked a HoHo right in the tail…

or for that matter, right in the eyeball.

I didn’t see a better choice, though.

I’m not subject to road rage, but I DO have fits of road exasperation, and people who drive in the rain, fog, snow or dusk (IOW whenever I think they should be on!) do drive me wild.

This is my favorite comic. I think about it every time I don’t see headlights in the fog or rain. I have several times pulled out on a foggy road just to have a car right on my rear. Had the headlights been on I would have seen them.

back when i was in the Navy, in my youth, they hung me over the side of the ship to paint….when they pulled me up for lunch, the Captain immediately started getting calls from the other ships; using the primer called red lead, which was orange, i had painted a huge happy face on the port side….never was hung over the side again

If you’re looking for the smile, you won’t find it on Patty’s face.
