A fool and their money….

I have never had a door hinge go bad until I bought this house. Front door always scrapped on top, I planed it, I swore at it THEN I figured the hinge. Same as the door to the garage. 3 doors in this house (15 yrs old) had loose top hinges

Doors don’t go bad or change shape. The floor settles unevenly and the frame twists. The correct solution is to put a floor jack under the lower side of the frame and slowly lift it back to square.

I believe the joke is he is a handyman and does not know the name of a screwdriver.

Does he mean… a hammer?

When he’s done there, he’ll start rotating the carpets and switching door knobs around so they wear evenly.

They found him in the minimum wage parking spot at the hardware mall.
