Drug companies only develope medicines that have a pay back, why invest in something where you would not earn profit? Look at the payback from covid 19

So few drugs cure diseases… most treat diseases. The drugs for diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc., only treat the ailment. Giving the drug companies repeat customers for life. And some of the drugs that do cure disease are outrageously expensive. For example, the drug that cures Hepatitis C costs $30,000. In the U.S., at least.

How many billions are wasted on drug advertising? I’m still waiting for my doc to tell me she’s prescribing something because she was convinced its effectiveness by a tv ad.

Reading some of the comments, it’s clear that the Crustwood paper has picked up this strip.
