I didn’t grow up during the depression, but I still don’t throw out leftovers. I call them lunch.

I throw my bread out for the blackbirds AND tonight squirrel attacked the goofy BB again, havent seen that it awhile, BB and squirrel love it. A teenage BB?

For those of you who put bread out for the birds: My dog thanks you. She loves bread and she sometimes sees it before I can lead her away from it.

My parents never stopped behaving as they had been trained to behave in the depression. In their 90s they were refusing to buy cherries because they were too expensive. They said they would wait a few weeks until they came down in price.
