Why would he want it for xbone? The good version of super chargers is for wii u, and if he doesn´t have one he ought to get one (assuming he does when wanting Super Smash Bros.). :) Oh, and its the good version because you can use amiibos as well as the skylanders figures for it, obviously.
But yes … he does need to know the limitations of the tenants and his mother.
