You’ll be hungry, but well read (for 6-year old).

You’re a tiger, for Pete’s sake. Go rustle up a wildebeest or something.

Hobbes is a predator, he should be able to find some meat…like a cheeseburger, or bacon…

A few years ago I went on a week-long road trip with a traveling companion. He brought a duffel bag, but the bag was full of books, not clothes. I really need to vet these things better.

The cub scout motto is not “Be Prepared”, it is “Do Your Best”. Also, they are members of a Pack, not a Troop. Calvin is using terms from Boy Scouting, not Cub Scouting.

Not a good idea to be lost in the woods with a hungry tiger

What is it with boys and their comic books? I was never much of a comic fan when I was younger. I would only read Andy Capp.

But when I joined GoComics, I developed a great interest in them. Including Calvin & Hobbes!
