Bad idea. Mom can take care of herself, without putting your own self & others in danger by needing to be rescued. Of course you have already left the valuable scrap book behind also.
One can only hope the idiot child runs headlong into danger, never to be seen again. Although it would have been fun to have the bear rip him to shreds.
