Nope, not rocket science. But foreign policy may not be your candidate’s strong suite. Besides, Putin has already said he’d not rule out the possibility of the use of tactical nukes versus Daesh….
Perhaps a new strategy based on the old Israeli strategy of retaliation. Many years ago the Israelis built a water pipeline. The Arabs would cut it every night. The Israelis said, “Ok, every time the pipeline is cut, we will burn the nearest Arab village.” Next night the pipeline was again cut.The Israelis went to the nearest village, moved everyone out and torched it. The pipeline was cut the next two nights. The Israelis burned the nearest villages. The fourth night the Israelis no longer had to guard the pipeline from terrorists. The local villages were patrolling the pipeline for the Israelis.Maybe the Israelis are on to something.
We’ve got another 2 or 3 presidential cycles before the exhaustion of extreme polarization sets in enough to return to the cooperation and civility necessary to actually deal rationally with these threats. The media I fear will be doomed to a much longer time in the wilderness before they realize that corporate interests and unbiased reporting simply cannot coexist…maybe by the 2036 election cycle.
Reminds me of the recent poll where about 25% of Americans said we should bomb Agrabah, which is the mythical land from Disney’s Alladin.American’s are not so hot at geography!
Maybe, and maybe Trump will be head of the galactic empire. Life does imitate pop art, and Donald looks like Jabba the Hutt.https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/87/Jabba_the_Hutt.png

It sure isn’t…

It’s also not brain surgery, although some of the candidates could use some.

Opus and most of the candidates for prez seem to be using the same advisers.

I prefer the current strategy of empty rhetoric and hoping nothing happens before 2017.

You want an extreme position? How about sending over a squadron of crop dusters to give all of the farmland ISIS controls a good dose of Agent Orange.

It’s not when you’re Donald Trump, no.
