And some of the books are just as good the second time around.

Then again, some of the movies are worth seeing many times over, even if I can quote most of the lines.Weird, the program moved my first comment above yours, even though I commented later than you. It put in a bad time stamp, too.

I read the same series of books over all the time because I can’t find any recent books that are worth reading—too much violence, foul language and sex—I far as I am concerned(talking fiction only) ! ! ! Non-fiction, books on history, I can never have a enough of ! ! !!

I re-read favorite books even though I can remember the ending. I have read all of Jan Karon’s books multiple times, and I love them. Father Tim is fabulous.

Agreed, but for me they are the stories about Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

I read my Rex Stout books over and over. He, Dick Francis and Agatha Christie. I have all of the books and short stories of the first two and many of the third. Sometimes I remember the ending, sometimes not. I just like being in the world they create and reveling in the good writing. A never-ending resource.

I always enjoyed history and watched the history channel often. A book stays the same, but many of the media played on the History Channel is re edited over and over. Rewriting history has always been a way to change policy(for the common good – sarcasm here)

I enjoy reading the same Pluggers, about forgetting how a book ends, multiple times.

Rereading’s not bad but I keep getting bouts of premature foreshadowing.

We are not suffering from senility, we are enjoying every minute of it.
