A week on a warm beach sounds heavenly. We are over knee-deep in snow. Our plants are totally covered. Anybody want it, you can have it! It is going to get clear up to 32 degrees this next week. Snow’s not leaving any time soon.
Eagles migrate to the ox-bow lakes along the Red River in winter, but I have only seen one. I saw a whole parliament of them in Canada during the salmon run. Some national bird!

Bring some of that snow and migrate over here in the southwest. We could use it.

I watched this pair raised three eaglets last year. They are still building their nest now and will lay eggs in the next few weeks. Enjoy!

Not all eagles migrate; those that do have complex migratory patterns. Apparently Eddy doesn’t migrate, or he flunked Migration!

Maybe the cherry blossoms will be out a few days early this year. What’s your latitude?

Doesn’t sound pretty. How has this affected the snow and ice festivals?

Careful what you wish for, Eddy – geese have to contend with hunters during their journey!
