Do they have permission from the copyright owner to work on the car? Could be lots of years in jail if they don’t.

This strip is funny. Its a good idea to check the vehicle after maintenance. Especially if the mechanic is using those technical terms and procedures. And don’t forget those extra parts after everything is back together!

Don’t know how true, but I read an article that said 44% of brake failures happen after a brake job. I now go to an empty parking lot and try them out after any brake work.

Not quite so funny if an incompetent mechanic has ruined your car, which I had happen to me. And when I went back to ask for compensation, they were out of business. That’s what happens when your son-in-law needs a job and you cave in to your daughter.

An OB-GYN decides after 30 years to retire and follow his dream of working with cars. He takes an auto mechanics course and is amazed when he gets a final mark of 150%. He asks the instructor if it was a clerical error, but the instructor says “You disassembled the engine perfectly, that was 50% of your mark, you reassembled it again perfectly, that was worth another 50%. And you did all by working through the muffler, I figured that was worth an extra 50%.”

My first Honda had an owners manual that must have been translated directly, literally, from Japanese. Unintelligible.

Typical of Monty’s luck, getting the newby mechanic and getting to hear the guy talk about what he’s doing to Monty’s car.Shoulda gone to your dealership if you bought your Hyundai new; but then again you probably bought it used.Oh, well. You can always drag your foot out the half-open door….
