    I try not to stop moving long enough to read, so I’ve fallen in love with audiobooks. I go through about 3 audiobooks a week. I use a cd player and headphones at home or use the cd player in the car and that is how all my reading gets done. I reserve them at the library and do all my housework and driving to audiobooks. It is wonderful.

    My mother taught me to read (at my insistence) when I was four, and complained the rest of her life that I always had my nose in a book. Still do, mostly.

    I was reading at 2.5 years old, and haven’t slowed down yet. Mom got me started, my stepdad got me hooked on science fiction & fantasy, and Daddy got me whatever I wanted to read. It kept me out of trouble and out of my parents’ hair. I married another SF&F addict, so many more books in the house. Anyone who has been to the house knows we have a few stacks of books in the bedroom. We go to SF&F conventions to buy books & meet authors. I met David Weber! {bounce}
