Man: I'm thinking maybe I should have coiled up the hose a little earlier in the season.
Ah well, this way it’s easier to use it. Have you ever tried to straighten out a frozen coiled up hose?
I use brass valves for the hose, you can hook two hoses to one faucet. I left it out 1st year and it cracked. I make sure I bring them in each winter.
One of fall’s last chores: unscrew the hose, drain the water out, coil it up. Take the sprayer attachment off and keep inside the house so the plastic parts don’t freeze and crack.
they make nice study tree stakes…
I’d be more concerned about the outside sillcocks…
…and why does the stupid spell check think sillcocks is misspelled?
So, what did you find?
Keep in mind I’m an old hardware guy, and my stores had well stocked plumbing departments…
