Several years ago I’d built a pretty impressive pile of snow at the end of my driveway. Looked out to see neighborhood kids riding their bikes down the hill to crash into the snow pile and endo over the bars into the pile. All the fun none of the work.

I loved doing this! The big old metal slide at the elementary school was a great as well, the plow driver usually piled the snow from the asphalt play area at the end of it… good man.

Great in theory, It might work the first day after a snow, but around here, with all the thawing and refreezing that follows, jumping onto a snow mound would be like landing on boulders.

Used to love doing stuff like that as a kid.Different story today. After all that shoveling I’d be to tired to have fun like that.
