Doesn’t Marigold have some sort of magical shield that works as an umbrella?

Umm….Marigold? You said Unicorns aren’t nor related to horses, but only horses say “Whinny!”. Unicorns say “UNICORN!”

Indeed, she’s more like an antelope or a deer, and ought to have a sort of bleat. OTOH the traditional unicorn does have the head of a horse, so perhaps she has horse vocal cords.

Does Marigold ever use contractions? “It’s” instead of “it is,” “we’ve” instead of “we have,” “you’re” instead of “you are,” etc. It makes her speech sound stilted and unnatural when she doesn’t.

Whinnying unicorns?

My head canon exactly. Marigold does not whinny. She says “whinny”.
