How is this even allowed to happen? I thought you guys stood for truth, justice and and the American Way. Wait, that’s Superman, a fictional character. I keep forgetting I get my information on US values from Hollywood; you guys are just as lousy as the rest of us in the real world.

And there are folks who counter the “Black Lives Matter [too]” campaign that “All lives matter”. Nuh-uh.Clearly White policemen lives matter far more than 12 year old Black children. I’m just gobsmacked how blatant, nevermind instituitionalised, racism is allowed in your justice system.

When anybody has a gun or what really looks like a gun in their hand, the police clearly realize their lives are potentially in danger. However in this case the video showed the cop charging in like Joan Wayne and blasting away within seconds. There was no attempt to assess the situation. Since kid wasn’t shooting at anyone, the police could have taken cover and tried to assess what was going on. They also could have waited a few minutes for backup to arrive. If they are really trying to Serve and Protect, they have to take a much more reasoned approach to these situations. A few days ago a Chicago cop answered a domestic and started blasting away. He killed the teen with the baseball bat but also took down an innocent women who helped them enter the building. Whey you are using lethal force you also need restraint and reason. The goal is not to shoot everybody who could possibly be a threat.

They never even charged Cliven Bundy’s pals, who aimed rifles at the police from behind concrete barricades.

Much like Holder or Lynch have been mistaken for a real Attorney General.

omQ RReppr is just mistaken? Or part of the thoughtless support for badge-wearing thugs conducting terrorist activities? They are crawling out of the woodwork now that they have an array of presidential candidates to “lead” them and give them the illusion of respectability.

Air soft pistols with the orange plug removed look exactly like real guns, the report to the dispatcher placed the kid as at least 18, and sadly the dispatcher did NOT tell the responding officers the caller reported the teen seemed to have only a “toy” gun.

While I agree the officer probably responded too quickly, I wasn’t there to make the judgement, and yes, I have had guns pointed at me and did NOT shoot the person, as in one incident it was clear the weapon wasn’t loaded.(Yes, it WAS a real gun.)

Back when I was in high school, btw, the gang fights had bike chains or locking chains as the typical most lethal weapon, today, gang bangers don’t seem to settle for less than a Glock or Mac 9 or 10, so the culture has changed, thank you, NRA.

Night-Gaunt49As long as I can remember, and I am 82. The only difference is now the “judicial” terrorism is getting reported – still nothing being done to stop it – but being reported. It is a lot like that 1950s essayist, Harry Golden, say, “The Negro has always been singing; it is just that he used to sing ‘Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen’ and now he is singing, ‘We Shall Overcome’”
