Computer: It fits well on the bookshelf. The pages turn nice and don't bend weird. Not as heavy a some books are.
Patrick: How's that book review coming?
Norman: Almost done.
Really funny. . .and apropos. . .Christian Science Monitor has a column titled “Prime Numbers,” and one factoid stated that 75% of Americans read at least one book last year. So, this would be the kind of book report they would probably give. . .
Actually, this is what I hear all the time from my friends who have kindle, nook, sony, etc. I’m reading more on kindle, but for social history, geography, etc., I still like paper books. ..
ValkaI thought librarians tried to shield children from “blue” material. On the other hand, I remember when I discovered I wasn’t really restricted to the Children’s Department, and discovered the universe.
The size of my personal library increased by about 25 books last year. That’s real paper. Think of it as carbon storage if you insist, but I see it as a collection of places I can go to again.
If I saw that review I’d think the book was so god awful terrible that they were -tongue firmly in cheek, listing the best things they could come up with about it!

Well, if you’re really lucky, you might get a point for succinctness!

The advantage over reading history or watching it on TV is that you know the last time it was editted.
