Rrrowr Rrwrrr Whaddya got there, Fleshy? Oh, wow. Good hunting. You got a big one this time... I guess it could be worse. Some cats catch small animals and bring em to their owners at night... Fleshy just brings me partially chewed potato chips...

I had a cat who brought home sirens. A siren is kind of eel-like, freshwater. He didn’t bring them in the house; he’d drag it back to the house and just leave it where I’d find it.

My cat hunted, chased down and killed a bread wrapper that was blowing across the yard, and proudly brought it home to leave as an offering.

My cat lives outside, gets rats and voles. Occasionally a squirrel but he eats them so I only see tail.

It wouldn’t be so bad except that Fleshy had already eaten the potato chip.

Eww! Soggy potato chip! That is better than a dead small animal or bird, but I’d prefer no nightly gifts, thank you.I do, however, respect Fleshy’s prowess as a hunter….

My old girl used to catch cicadas. The noisy male ones. And drop them down my pajamas while I was blissfully sleeping….
