Ten Cats by Graham Harrop for December 31, 2015

Hmmm…..wonder where everyone is today? Anyhow, hope everyone has a good day and has fun tonight on New Year’s Eve.

Will be a quiet day here. Because our neighborhood is primarily retired people, a lot of whom are gone for the two weeks, it will be a quiet day and night. The streets roll up early and we have not heard fireworks or noisemakers since we got here 10 yrs ago.

Any one see Speed Bump this morning?

Chesney and Lily, go home and be safe before the crazies are out tonight! That poor eagle looks old, but hopefully it’s just wet from fishing. Everyone be safe and warm and wake up optimistic with the new year tomorrow.

Lily and Chesney, you were born aloof, disdainful, dismissive and detached. Since you’re not city slickers why not join me tonight in NYC to watch Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin ring in the new year (while giving the censors a huge headache again this year). H, W and H NY to all TC fans. Will look forward to seeing my grandsons arrive tomorrow afternoon!

Last, but not least…..Moose you ARE ‘Cat Of The Year’.

You cats have your work cut out for you! Beviek – cute little videos. I’m not sure who that eagle and cat video was a close call for. Looked like they might have been having an interesting conversation.

We went to a party last nite and I was too pooped to post.I love the hostess like she is my sister, but goodness that woman can’t cook. We had chili, basically beans in tomato sauce with (maybe) a teaspoon of chili powder. I was up and down all nite.Good company tho, so I’ll be a good guest and eat what’s in front of me.Tonite will find me here at midnight (if I can stay awake that long)Today we take down all the Christmas decorations and trees (2). Why does it take longer to take down and put away than it did to put it all up?I hope you all have a happy and HEALTHY New Year!

Happy New Year’s to all 10 Cats readers! I’ll be out at my friends tonight, hopefully we actually stay awake ’til midnight this year.

I’ve heard of COPY cats but not C.O. F. Y. cats.

And I thought he just like sleeping on Brad’s jeans. I had no idea he was into shoes.

Hoping everyone is having a safe celebration and we all “see” each other tomorrow.

Graham – it was a great day when I discovered Ten Cats. I’m looking forward to another year of wonderful, funny and irreverent strips.

On a side note, I got 2 kittens today. Susan saw them in a field just before she left town for Thanksgiving week. She saw 2, a black one and a black and white one.

She was able to trap the b/w baby and a dark grey baby. I/m wondering if she just mistook the grey for black.

Anyway, I got them about 11:30 this morning so they are safe and warm now. They are still very scared. Moose has already been at the door but I won’t let him in for a while.

Must be midnight, the neighbors are shooting off fireworks and gunshots. 2016, where does the time go?

Don’t people realize that bullets going UP into the air need to come DOWN? Hopefully they land in the ground and not in a person or animal.
