For the record, Witless Bay, Jerry’s Nose, and Saint-Louis-du-Ha are real names of real towns, the first two in Newfoundland and the last one in Québec. It’s about 780 kilometres from Witless Bay to Jerry’s Nose and about 2,000 km to S-L-d-Ha Tabarouette is sort of a Québec equivalent of Heck or Darn. Darby Conley is fortunate Satchel’s folks don’t come from Dildo, Newfoundland, which is about 80 km from Witless Bay.

And for some reason in this forum if you type the full name of the Quebec town two exclamation points and one Ha vanish from your post.
