As Scooby Doo would say, “Ruh Roh!”

I usually like this strip, but recycling “The Last Starfighter” leaves me cold. Why not steal from a good movie?

If you think parody is “stealing,” I guess you were never a big fan of Mad magazine, Saturday Night Live, or… well… the internet.

And whatever your take on the cinematic qualities of “The Last Starfighter” in particular ….sometimes bad movies in general are just more ripe for parody than good ones.In fact, it’s the silly mistakes, improbabilities, anachronisms, and histrionics that get satirised in either.

There was one memorable line in The Last Starfighter. When the subject of comparing religion came up the lizard guy said “Truth is Truth.” Kind of deep for that movie.

Dun dun DUN!!! Those green dots spell Trouble with a capital T. ☺One of these days I’m going to have to see Last Starfighter.Maybe it’s available to watch online. I’ll have to look.

if the enemy is as inept as those guys just looked I think Jane has a 90% chance of winning!!

The premise of the story line is getting lame and repetitive. Paige can do much better than this.
