Are phone conversations private anymore? Why use or own a phone? A walki-talkie is a private method to communicate with another over a 50 mile range……
We have this mongrel land line system in our house which is half digital and half analog. Depending on which room you are in, the phones may be touch tone or rotary… It always confounds the phone company’s techies.
Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computers, actually took an old rotary phone and put cellphone circuits into it. Yes, it works.
I’ve had my cell for over three years now, still don’t know how to use all it’s features. My laptop as well.
