The best of friendships can start with a “Hi” or “Hello”. Sometimes even a "wa’sup? "

There’s always someone to ruin a good feeling… Ignore the grumps, Elizabeth, and go hang out with your “new” friend.

I’ve given up keeping up with my 2nd-grade girl’s “best friends”. They change at LEAST daily, sometimes by the minute.

It’s a form of bullying. “You can’t be MY friend if you are HER friend”

It is also a form of showing insecurity. Many bullies are scared, rejected kids. Many are overindulged brats. For some kids who are shy and not very popular and bullied, their “best friend” being good friends with someone else can feel like rejection or loss. It isn’t necessarily that way, but it may be.

I never experienced that. I was the kid everyone either picked on or ignored.

Sorry Lizzie! You’re in the wrong clique!!!

Well, I’d hate for her to be a boy with that moniker.
