So, it seems Porphyry Ivanov is more than just a detective. He’s also an intelligence service operative. And Tracy is his assigned mark. This adds a twist or two to the storyline.Betimes, Specs and Spicy have passage to Cuba arranged, which suggests the coming involvement of Wunbrow. And Special Agent Trailer of the FBI can work the big bank heist that touched off this arc and eventually add counter-intelligence against Ivanov….Such a heady brew!

Looks like the Three Detectives will be absent from the closing ceremonies and it appears that Specs and Spicy are becoming popular. Are the Russians after Specs’ glasses? They might have been aware of its development and disappearance. If The Apparatus got people at Smith Industries, it is very likey that the Russians also do. Are the Cubans aware that Specs and Spicy are coming? The MCU also seem to be already on the trail of Specs and Spicy. That “calling card” that Spicy sent to The Apparatus might have tipped off everyone as to their whereabouts. Bright idea from a brainy girl. I hope there’s more to her plans than what it appears.Love your version of this week’s happening, Pequod.

Patton instructs . . . SKIP the Closing Convention Ceremonies . . .Return . . .Sam, Liz, have turned up LEADS on these strange robberies.REALLY ?

‘Thought’ someone here said, Bank robberies (the Big One) had to be investigated by the Federal Authorities . . .Tracy, MCU, local police simply not allowed - they have no ‘Jurisdiction’! (?)

Stunningly, NO other ‘Authority’ has been seen to arrive to conduct ANY investigation. Not a ‘whisper’ indicating someone was on the Job (?) Possible *’Clues’ at the Bank’s ‘Crime Scene’ – likely ‘swept out’ with the “garbage” - a few days ago ?

Yet, time ‘ENOUGH’ to show Johnny (Come Lately) for 3 Days playing his Guitar . . .While Four Billion in Cash Gone ?? NO investigation of the Crime Scene? With Staff? / With Guards? - likely Impacted ? ‘Descriptions’ ? ‘Clues’ ? How it was done ? Records from Security tapes ?

Like the “equivalent” of an Atomic Bomb “exploding” (say)just North of the City - and No One Investigating ?

    *Where

is Fritz Ann, where is Jim Trailer ?

Even if there was not a ‘Clue’ there, one panel (or one mention) could have covered what’s now an obvious SLIP

Big ‘Chest Holes’ in this Case . . . ?Am I reading the ‘wrong’ strip ? Is this Fearless Fosdick (?)

Ken in Ohio: Yeah, I suppose I got Flaky Biscuits wrong. I know Abner killed someone, and I thought he had a dough-y name. Got it wrong, I suppose..Who keeps that list of deaths in Tracyville? That should help.

A bountiful Sunday to all.-—————I hope that everyone is doing well. I am concerned about those getting all the snow and flooding. -—————UPDATE: My left eye continues to get better although there is still some inflammation in it.-—————My girlfriend and I are spending a lot of time together. (We get along so well that it’s almost scary). If our love continues to grow we may get married later this year.-—————Prayers for all my friends. Have a peaceful day.

Usually that upper right panel on the Sunday strip doesn’t give any information, due to the fact that some newspapers don’t print that entire first row. However, This one with Inspector Wunbrow reading some papers and smiling, seems to be an exception…

Not given to formulaic stories, this Team Tracy. Pack your sun-screen, folks, I think we may follow Specs and his better half, Spicy, down to sunny Havana. Wunbrow needs no snow plow. What fun. What Cuban sights might Specs see through lenses of spectacular capability? Things more interesting than an emptied bank vault, I’ll wager.

Thanks to cpalmeresq, Vista Bill, Night-Gaunt49, 22ph, JPuzzleWhiz, Gweedo, Neil Wick and Jonathan K. for the kind words. Very much appreciated.

Hi there, Gweedo. Happy Birthday! I know you don’t make such a big deal of it but “Happy Birthday” is only 2 words. Haha. -I have applied for my provisional driving licence, I filled out a form online and then I got the actual forms in the post. I had to enclose 2 types of ID which was my birth certificate and a letter with my National Insurance Number on. On Thursday, I got my photos taken at the Post Office because I needed to enclose one. One of the owners at the Post Office filled in a part of the form because I needed a “reference”-I’ll be getting my licence soon and I will post a photo on GoComics. But I’m blanking out the personal details. Such as my surname and the licence number. -Anyway. That’s what has been happening with me. My cousin helped me with all of this. He’s a star.-Hope you’re having a lovely day.-P.S. I always read your responses and it’s always a pleasure.

Whenever a bank or financial institution is robbed the initial investigation may be done by local police since they have to seal the crime scene and maintain the integrity of any evidence. However, I believe that even if the crime was solved it has to be investigated by the FBI or Secret Service. I have seen signs on banks and credit unions indicating that this is so. Though we haven’t seen federal involvement here I’m sure they’ve been informed by the police.

This story is starting to get complicated. I hope they don’t have too many threads going because that usually results in parts of the storyline being overlooked and it could wind up with tons of unanswered questions like we had at the end of the Blackhearts story. Just keep us informed what everyone is doing and stay on track.

Things happen “off-camera.” That’s fine with me. I’d rather use some imagination and common sense than have to be spoon-fed every bit of minutiae.
