Mid-term elections are fast approaching. I laugh out loud when I read or hear what the politicians are saying. Then I realize some of them are going to get elected in the next few months and it pretty much kills the mood.
If you push the envelope long enough, maybe someone else will open it and pay the bill.
Forgive, but … Getting a bit tired of politicians trying to tell us they will give us money for this, that and the other thing when the reality is that is our money, not theirs that they will use. That doesn’t make me laugh!
I understand that they’re gonna use some of our money. It would just be much more palatable if they would use it for something useful (or at least something I approve of).
Dry: Did the last time I looked. Just checked again and can’t find any other country with a red-headed Com….. (oops) Socialist female PM.
Besides, the Hubble telescope is parked in a geostationary position North-west of Melbourne right now and it was there sure enough at 7 pm - second brightest object in the sky after the moon.
Ottod: Great big fat chance of that happening in this neck of the woods.
