    There used to be a large pond down the road from us, but it was drained and houses built. The geese still come “home” every year, and the residents are complaining about it, Build your house in somebody else’s living room, and that’s what happens.

    The Canada geese which used to just stop over here in Middle Georgia on their migration have now settled in as year-round residents. They are fouling (no pun intended) local ponds as well as grassy areas and sidewalks. Skidding on goose poop is no fun…
