What’s wrong with Perry Mason? Says the old guy.

No fair having Laura change into something skimpy and then hiding her once the sudsy water starts flying.

“Lu-c-i-i-i-i-i-l-l-l-e.”

Is Will Laura’s brother-in-law? I certainly hope she wouldn’t do him.

No worries, ElDo, I got your reference but I’m not sure you got mine. The car-wash scene in “Cool Hand Luke.”

“Give it a rest Dragline, you’re just makin’ it worse for everybody.”

“Looka dat. Oooooh, she got no idea what she’s doin’.”

“She knows EXACTLY what she’s doin’.”

Oh, then you much watch it again, and soon. The car wash scene is what sets up Luke’s fight with Dragline.

“Come on, li’l safety pin, pop! Jes’ go ahead an’ POP!”

Fantastic film. I probably ought to move it into my Top 10, but there are already 12 movies on that list and it’s getting kind of crowded.

“Citizen Kane” you ought to see if only so you can say you’ve seen it. It’s a film I admire more than one I enjoy.

The only Kubrick film in my Top 10 is “Spartacus” (these are my favorites, not necessarily what I consider “best”). But, however many films on my list, and however I decide to rank them depending on my mood, the top spot always goes to “Casablanca.”

It’s 100 degrees today, and supposed to reach that again tomorrow. Bring on the water fight!
