Adam: Boy, Clayton is obsessed with that fishnoggin guy on Youtube. Laura: Oh, trust me, I know. Adam: I really tried to enjoy it with him, but...oof. It's just so dumb. So...mindless. Laura: Says the guy in the "Three Stooges" boxers. Adam: GASP! You uncompare those right now!

Even as a kid, I enjoyed the puns, but the slapstick annoyed me. Ah, but Laurel and Hardy…now there was a comedy act!

Totally off topic:Today’s Lockhorns mentioned coffee strong enough to go ten rounds with Wladimir Klitschko. I’m guessing they haven’t discovered DTWFNC yet.

For the most part, the producers of the Three Stooges movies tried to put them into the most implausible situation they could come up with, such as the swing voters at a convention or doctors at a hospital. One exception was Three Gents Without Cents, which has them performing the classic Niagara Falls routine at the climax, and was written to take advantage of footage (the routine) that was cut out of a different movie but was too good to waste.

If we were voting, which we are not, I’d go for Laurel & Hardy. Some of the comedy teams can be like fingernails on a chalkboard after a few minutes; but not Stan and Ollie…
