9:16EST and I’m the 4th comment the snow must be worse than I thought. Hope everyone is safe and warm. No snow here yet, mostly rain and a little snow in our forecast. At least Chesneys hot air will keep everyone in the warehouse warm.
9:30 AM here. Only a few posts, which is odd. Love the ray of death, bbear.
PetCo today. Did some major sewing yesterday so I could have some Valentines Day cat pad. And, one big one for Carbons’ (the black kitten) new brother, Jake the dog.
9am here on the west coast so we’re just getting going. Imagine lots of folks out east are bracing for the big storm, thoughts and fingers crossed for everyone in its path.Just torrential rain and depressingly dull out in the Pacific NW, almost makes me miss the blue skies and -20+C of the prairies
I figure the goat has just decided to change the time of publication, maybe it will never go back. I will probably do more posting in the AM rather than before bed. Too bad, I have enjoyed reading the comics and posts before bed.
Based on the survey sent out a while ago, I suspect they are planning to raise rates. That may give us an opportunity to send a message.
I’ve decided not to post at night until GC comes to their senses, (if they have any).By the time I get to bed it’s 1:30 and last nite I was wide awake and didn’t fall asleep until 4am.I’m a zombie today, and with this Fibro Flare up, I’m not sleeping well anyway. I hope we can get back on schedule.
@Queen of America Allied Gardens San Carlos, Navajo, Del Cero area. It’s sort of the place where they all come together. Some call it Navajo. It’s north of I-8 East of I-15
I was up about 4 am; got a good fire going…all joints were hurting as the front came through bringing the snow. Went out and got a cart load of wood in for the rest of Friday. By 6 the snow was coming down like mad. But quit late morning and we did not get the projected 5-8 inches. (West Tennessee). But it was pretty and gave better traction than the deck does usually….my hay man brought a giant round bale of hay for the horses and donkeys. I had to fill bird feeders 4 times during the day to keep the birds warm. I slept from 7 to 8, then napped 1:30 to 3. I made a pot of chicken and rice soup and shared it with my daughter when she got off work at 6:30. My little rescue weinie dog, walked 1 foot down the ramp and pooped there and came back on the porch where it was dry. She thought the other dogs were crazy to go out in that stuff. Always nice to see snow when I don’t have to go anywhere.
Snowing here, 2 inches so far, after one hour. Where are you Noreen? If memory serves, somewhere near me? At least on the path of Jonas. I am in Central PA.
@Queen of America I know where that is I had a friend that lived on lake Aral just of Lake Arrowhead. That is about five miles from me. I used to deliver mail there when I was with the Post Office.

So few comments the last day or two – are most of the readers on the east coast? I hope everyone is safe and warm.

I went out and looked for this Orb you speak of, but the sun here in San Diego ,Ca. is so bright it must be hiding it.

No adoptions at PetCo to day. A lot of people came in asking for dogs We told them that the dogs will be there tomorrow with another rescue group.
