My brother went into the hospital on December 21. Then he went into the same recovery center I spent 3 months in 4 years ago. He’s due to be released today (guess his insurance ran out). Tabby, the cat has been searching all over for him constantly. Wonder if he will recognize him? I’m thinking I will be seeing very little of Tabby for a while.

Good morning. Is everyone in the midwest and east still digging out? Snow removal is still going on where my sister is – she said the new issue is where to put it. City Island is full. And, when it starts melting, then the flooding starts. She sent me some pics of City Island; that is a LOT of snow!

Lulu update: Her new mom said she’s settled in and even sleeping with her! Lulu and the Shitzu get along.

The only thing is Lulu runs where Jeans’ husband goes into the room. However, he’s like Brad, very quiet and low key. Lulu will warm up to him eventually. We think a man perhaps hit her or was mean to her to cause this. She was the same way with Susans’ husband and Brad. She hissed at Brad but let him pet her anyway.

DennisI loved watching Are You Being Served!They got away with a lot that would have been censored in the US.And I think the last season, when they supposedly “retired” and all moved to the country was so bad I quit watching.Re-runs are still on and they are still funny.

Loved the pics today.Just lovely!The jackrabbit looks to be the size of a small pony…maybe it’s the BIG ears?

I gotta say that Lily and Chesney have menus SOOOO maybe they expect better service. lol——————————————————Queen: Looks like Lulu has hit the jackpot! Sadly, all the cast members of ‘Are You Being Served’ are gone now – Nicholas ‘Mr Rumbold’ Smith passed about a month ago. About 20 years ago my parents and I went to a shopping mall where John ‘Mr Humphries’ Inman was making an appearance. We were just about the last in line and he was as nice as could be. My mother couldn’t wait to tell him I was about to get married and move to England!

Something amazing happened to me this evening.Ive posted here before how Sweetheart is no good at riding. She barks and cries and can’t sit still. Anxious is an understatement.I was advised to try using a ThunderShirt to help calm her down.I honestly wasn’t sure about it. Sounds too much like quackery. But, i really want to have the ability to take my dog places with me, so i decided to try it.Thirty Dollars (!!! $29.99 !!!).Well, i put it on her and took her for a little ride around the neighborhood.Except for a couple small squeaky whines she was very calm.I very much endorse all of these “calming” shirts. They actually work.

Quick update on the booth at the antique mall.I got to go check it out today for the first time in a little over two weeks. I couldn’t get back sooner than that because the other male caregiver that covers our to bigger guys here was on vacation.I had thirteen straight days of nine or ten hour days so going down to Newport was out of the question.Well, nothing sold. Nothing. I wanted to get a little down but i know, business is slow this time of year. Tourists don’t go antique-ing in the winter.I asked the clerk/manager there if i was doing something wrong and she confirmed my suspicion. She also said that next month would be better. I paid up next months rent, courtesy of my boss at Adeo, so i will get least two more mouths there. Still, its not about the sales. Remember, I’m fishing for donations here. If i get enough sales to pay the rent, then its not a total loss.
