Reminds me of the bumper sticker I saw recently…. “Honk if you love Jesus. Text while driving if you want to meet Him.” The best part? The driver was either talking on cell phone or texting, it was hard to tell - I was too busy taking his picture with my phone.
This grandma just wants to point out there’s no sign of Red’s HELMET. Yeah, it’s the funnies, but because my own daughter at age 8 avoided major head trauma due to her helmet disintegrating (as it should) I am happiest when cartoonist set an example. Sorry, it’s just that important to some of us…

Been there! Done that! With a book, when I was about Red’s age.
And long before it became an issue, I would say of some foolish stunt that it makes about as much sense as texting while driving.

every time i see someone driving erratically, they almost invariably have a cell phone clamped to their ear (and it’s illegal to do so in Ontario).

A creative way to get the message across. As of July 1, it’s illegal here to text and drive, but I’m not sure much has changed. I hope it does soon.

Why not just a boy and his dog enjoying life?
My dog and I did..
We got surrounded by “Killer Whales” one day.
Scared me, the black lab swam behind my rowboat, and the whales just passed us; checking us out.
One of the best times of my life..
There’s more.
