Evelyn Wood was male. He was a British Army officer in the 1800’s. Once, while very drunk in Africa, Wood decided to try and ride that giraffe over there. He fell off, breaking an arm, and then the giraffe stepped on his face.

I don’t think Loris has a part, per se. I’ve imagined her hair as falling straight down over her face, and she periodically has to shake it to one side or another of her nose. Sometimes she shakes it to the left, sometimes she shakes it to the right.
