Since we aren’t going on vacation this summer, we have doing some work during the mornings and then treating the afternoons like we are on vacation, sitting on our deck reading, then going for a swim or two in our lake. No need to go anywhere when you live on a lake.
Wish we could enjoy the lake more. We own a marina/bar/restaurant, doesn’t leave much time for vacation thoughts, wait…the thoughts are there the vacation isn’t.
Good for you Cleokaya–change of routine brings benefits.
We haven’t had a “real” vacation yet and have been enjoying watching old movies in the cool house, popcorn too.
