At the humane society, I adopted two kittens who were six months apart in age. The younger one grew up assuming that the older one was his personal pillow. It stopped being funny when they were both full grown. Fortunately, Kirby (pictured as my avatar) was very good-natured. Although he did throw the other cat down a stairwell when he got too obnoxious. (Nobody was hurt.)
I also have two cats and until recently, a Siberian Husky. The dog slept on the couch; the cats, from the time they were kittens, on the dog. The dog passed away at 14; now no one sleeps on the couch.

Very sweet. My cat and dog used to do this when they thought we weren’t home.
